about the artists:

feedBuck of VJ Superduo Feedbuck Galore signed on for this night because it was to be a VJ Battle. He has been training hardcore to kick some VJ butt! Once the word got out that he was slated to compete, all the others backed off in fear! FBG has been creating visuals for the past fourteen years. Continually becoming, FBG pushes the boundries of content, technique and application; mixing mediums; exploring concept; utilizing new technology and encouraging evolution.

Jeff Mission leads a busy life. Over the last few years, he has worn a number of furry hats - resident DJ for Boston’s recurring Circle parties, co-founder of the Glitch VJ Crew, member of the Redtail Collective. An explorer of the technological arts community, he has had a hand in producing dozens of events in Boston and beyond. He is the creator and host of ‘Mixed Media’, a television show featuring live visual artists; his radio program, ‘Green’, has been on the airwaves of WZBC for over five years. He has performed at home and abroad for crowds ranging from dozens to thousands. He loves creative mixing, lazy Sundays, and the satisfaction of a job well done.

Jeremy Slater, otherwise known as ( ), is an aritsts who works with video and sound in performance and installation settings doing interactive and ambient-reactive installations. He was one of the 1999 recipients of the Computer Art Fellowship from New York Foundation of the Arts (NYFA) and has exhibited and performed nationally and internationally. The Goistron Sentry is a gigantic reactive automaton built by an ancient and extinct alien race to serve as a guardian to several nearby galaxies including our own Milky Way. Spacey! Expect a special guest appearance by vocalist Bene Gauthier to round out the set.

Lance Blisters (LIVE A/V) (Geoff Matters - Midi Guitar and Vocals + ilan katin - Video) If that day comes when life as we know it now is over and Mad Max is the order of things, we will need people like Lance Blisters in our underground oasis to keep the power on and the music running… Lance is a circuit bender/software programmer/electronic twister extraordinare who will once again be shredding our preconceptions of sound, music and live performance with his latest project. Like a cyborg Johnny Cash sent from the future to prevent it, Lance unleashes a torrent of apocalyptic audiovisual propaganda on those within blast radius.? Jungle, breakcore, punk and noise, photos video and illustration, singing and songwriting are mashed up into a potent weapon of shock and awe, and used to smash the state. 22nd Century protest music, wargasmic revolution. It will be loud–you have been warned!

NyscaEyeWash is presented by Forward Motion Theater, Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization since 2001, and is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State agency.
