The vBrooklyn 2007 Call for Submissions is closed.
Please submit to participate in the vBrooklyn video-festival, running Nov 30 – Dec 2nd at Polytechnic University, Brooklyn.
The deadline for submitting proposed or completed works is September 1, 2007. Notification will be sent as proposals and works are received. The deadline for delivering accepted works is November 1, 2007.
vBrooklyn is a video-festival about Brooklyn as a place and video as an art-form. www.vbrooklyn.org

EyeWash Spring 2007 Call for Participation

Forward Motion Theater is now booking the 2007 Spring Season of EyeWash, the live-mix video series. Available dates for events held at Monkeytown are March 16, April 13, May 11, June 8, and July 13.
We are looking for Video Artists, A/V collaborations or Media/Dance/Performance collaborations performing focused 25 minute sets.
EyeWash is an event where VJs and Video artists perform live-mix video, present audio visual performances in collaboration with Audio artists, workshop performance involving video and technology. Each artist will be paid a small stipend.

Goliath Visual Space will celebrate eight years of innovative projects with a final, marathon public event. RE-ZONING features our 2006 fundraiser to benefit Goliath, with donated artworks available for sale, followed by OUTRO, an improvisational performance evening by media and sound artists. Forward Motion Theater is now booking the 2006 Spring Season of the live-mix video series, EyeWash. Events will be held at Monkeytown. Available dates are Fridays: March 10, 31; April 14, 28; May 12, 26; June 9, 23; July 14, 28, and Aug 11.
EyeWash is an event where VJs and Video artists perform live-mix video, present audio visual performances in collaboration with Audio artists, workshop performance involving video and technology, and occasionally go head to head in VJ Battles. Each artist will be paid a small stipend.
We are looking for:
–Video Artists, A/V collaborations, or Media/Dance/Performance collaborations performing focused 25 minute sets.
–VJs to perform 45min-1hr sets with the house DJs or guests DJs.
–Combatants for VJ Battles in competitive rounds of 5 minute sets. Judges and prizes. (tentative dates April 14, May 28)
