Forward Motion Theater is now booking the Fall 2008 Season of EyeWash, the live-mix video series. All events scheduled at Monkeytown in Brooklyn, NY. Available dates are September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12.
We are looking for VJs, Video Artists, AudioVisual collaborations, and Media/Dance/Performance collaborations performing in focused 20-25 minute sets.
Please respond with your available dates and how you are interested in performing. Non-Video artists and performers interested in video collaboration are welcome to respond and we will work to pair you with a Video Artist.
If you have not played EyeWash before, a reference of your work is required. Point us to your website with clips, send us your demo reel, show us some samples, or let us know when you are performing. EyeWash Veterans, feel free to update us with new samples of your work as well.
EyeWash is an event where VJs and Video artists perform live-mix video, present audio visual performances in collaboration with Audio artists, workshop performance involving video and technology. Each artist will receive a small stipend.

This event is also supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts.

The event will take place at Polytechnic University, through the Integrated Digital Media Institute (IDMI).
The deadline for proposing performances or works is July 15, 2008. The deadline for delivering accepted works is October 1, 2008.
