Forward Motion Theater is now booking the 2008 Spring Season of EyeWash, the live-mix video series. Available dates for events held at Monkeytown are March 7, April 4, May 9, June 13, July 11, and August 8.

We are looking for Video Artists, A/V collaborations or Media/Dance/Performance collaborations performing focused 20-25 minute sets.

EyeWash is an event where VJs and Video artists perform live-mix video, present audio visual performances in collaboration with Audio artists, workshop performance involving video and technology. Each artist will be paid a small stipend.

This event is also supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

Please respond with your available dates and how you are interested in performing. Non-Video artists and performers interested in video collaboration are welcome to respond and we will work to pair you with a Video Artist.

If you have not played EyeWash before, a reference of your work is required. Point us to your website with clips, send us your demo reel, show us some samples, or let us know when you are performing. EyeWash Veterans, feel free to update us with new samples of your work as well.
