about the artists:
Holly Daggers newest project is to take FMT into the next generation of television by helping to develop a new international VJ channel for Joost. The new channel, dubbed Club Chroma will launch in December. For this performance, she will showcase some of the visuals she and FMT created for the channels signature hour long mix. Featuring the musical mix of DJ ActivePhaze.
Hooker99 will be weaving a multi channel shattered masterpiece of video textures and tones derived from his residence at ETC and an interactive version of Sudoku he designed to generate numerous patterns. Featuring the live sounds of Lance Blisters.
Raphael DiLuzio will present a highly figurative, “broken” narrative that deals loosely with global warming, loss of tree canopies, disappearing bees and all around phucked up planetary goodness. Eric Haeker, composer and Director of Arts In Motion of Philadelphia will be performing a selection of his new musical compositions in collaboration with Raphael’s figurative video work.
VJ Exeris is showing off his new Grains of Sound project with a premiere live DJ/VJ set. Grains of Sound is a new project from brothers Chris and Jason Sevanick, the duo behind the pummeling club tracks and powerful anthems of the dark electronic act, Mindless Faith.
EyeWash is an event where VJs and Video artists perform live-mix video, present audio visual performances in collaboration with Audio artists, workshop performance involving video and technology. EyeWash is also supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
