New York, NY — Forward Motion Theater, Inc. is pleased to announce the DVD release of Hub Culture Retrospectives: ANTARCTICA, with a special live performance of the soundtrack by Aerostatic in the Tap Room at The Knitting Factory on Saturday, October 1st from 9pm to midnight. The event is free.

The Knitting Factory is at 74 Leonard Street between Broadway and Church Street. Take the 1 or 9 train to Franklin Street, walk one block south to Leonard, turn left and walk a block & a half to the club; the A, C or E train to Canal Street, walk 4 blocks south and turn left on Leonard; or take the N or R train to Canal Street, walk down Broadway 4 blocks to Leonard, turn right, and see the club at the far end of the block.

Hub Culture Retrospectives: Antarctica, is a journey to the last continent without documentary edits or intrusive narration, just majestic timelapse views, stunning soundscapes, and wildlife existing at the pace of nature…. Experience the ultimate chill with an electro-ambient score by Aerostatic or the original environment soundtrack. HCR:A is produced by Forward Motion Theater, Inc. in conjunction with Hub Culture.

Aerostatic is Terry Golob and Michele Darling. Based in New York City, they utilize artifacts of sound generated by digital and analog processing in conjunction with a variety of interactive technologies to compose and design audio environments for film, installations and music performance.
