It Designer Runway Show

This contest hosted by MyItThings.com… in the vein of Project Runway was held online. Finalists were given a budget to complete their designs and have a runway show in New York City. Online voting through fashion website MyItThings.com… and Celebrity judges at the event determined the winner.

Forward Motion Theater set the tone by mixing fashion boards from the competing designs with sponsor logos. A pre-taped video interview introduced each of the finalists before their designs hit the runway. FMT worked with the client to merge the online community and the live event, and the fashion show was streamed to the sponsoring website.

Fashion Week: Old Navy

Live mixing of “Step and Repeat” Cam

For Old Navy’s event at Eyebeam during Fashion Week, FMT put a new twist on the Step and Repeat cam. As celebrity guests walked the red carpet, their live image was projected and remixed in the lounge area, giving party guests a fun psychedelic glimpse of the models and fashonistas arriving on the scene.

Once the party was in full swing, FMT’s subtle cameras captured fashion artists making sketches of the crowd. We remixed and effected the art as it emerged from the page, allowing the whole lounge to indulge in the focused attention.

Fashion show for Vogue Eyewear

We were invited to Miami to remix the fashion show launching Vogue Eyewear, hosted by super model Giselle Bundchen.

The producer did an excellent job of creating a fantasy beach environment with projections on waterfalls and flat screens everywhere. We provided all the video content and branding before the fashion show, ran extra graphics and mixed the live cameras during the actual show, then remixed the show for the rest of the night.

Ray-Ban Neverhide

For the 70th anniversary of Ray-Ban and they invited FMT to perform at a swank party at Gustovinos under the 59th Street Bridge in NYC to launch their NEVER HIDE slogan. Eric mixed branding, Ray-Ban footage, and pictures from the event while Holly kept the party rockin’ with FMT’s bluescreen installation, Tripulation.

Celebrities included Spike Lee, Petra Nemkova, and Mira Sorvino.
