Kim Gilbilisco Dances at Joyce Soho

Kim Gibilisco Dances makes its Joyce SoHo debut with the world premiere of “Lensascompass,” a collaboration with composer/percussionist Tigger Benford and multi-media artists of Forward Motion Theater, Holly Daggers & Eric Dunlap.

Inspired by the processes of self-portrait artists, “Lensascompass” features dancers using camera lenses like mirrors to guide the audience on a journey of mutual self-discovery. The program includes additional works by Gibilisco including “Telling…” (2009) and “Charged” (2005).
